Default Bench Tune 5.3??

Im just finishing up my frame off rebuild of my 76 vette. Swapping in an lm4 and t56. I have a friend who lives a few hours away that has hp tuners and was gonna give me the rest of his credits so he could tune my ECU. What do I need to bench tune? That way I could just take my ecu up to him. I have the complete wiring harness that speartech re did. What would be the easiest route?

Do a search for a bench harness and make one.
Basicly you'll need the blue PCM connector
OBD2 connector
12 volt power supply
Switch to turn ignition power off and on

Bench harnesses are for when the car isnt available. Well I have the entire engine harness. My harness has an OBDII connector the blue pcm connector and a check engine light. Its out of the car, so couldnt I just put an on/off switch between the power supply and the harness?
