Need to Build ALDL connector for 1999 or 2000 Harness
Folks,
Ok I received a motor and tranny from a seller, it was suppose to be 2001 motor and it has EGR and the wrong intake.
So I am looking to connect my HP Tuners to the factory harness. I'm heading in the morning to cut an ALDL connector out of a junk yard vehicle. My question is what all needs to be powered for it to function? I just have the PCM harness and that’s it. I need power at the battery terminals of course. What else?
1. How does the PCM get power?
2. What pins does the ALDL connector need to hooked up for communication?
3. What pins does the ALDL connector need to hooked up for power?
4. Anything else to connect?

I sell a pigtail too, but the truth is, only a couple wires need to go from the connector back to the PCM. Here is a pic to show you what need to be able to talk to the PCM through the port:
