Default Shift firmness questions any one help..

Ok i have ls1 edit and would like to change the shift firmness. First i must say that i have a shift kit. What im looking to do is lessen the shift firmness of the 1-2 shift (its hard enough) but want to firm up the 2-3 and the 3-4 shifts. I know when i installed the shift kit i went conservitive on the hole size drilled into the plate. I even spoke to a few people @ trans go and said i could go bigger on the holes for harder shifts but i left it alone. Just looking to back off the 1-2 shift as i spin the tires wich is bad for track times and want firmer shifts on the other gears as they tend to be weak. How do i do this..
