chip i was browsing ebay and found all these chips and stuff that say 20-40hp this and that jw if they are actually legit and can make you get better mpg and add hp and all the other stuff they say..they all say they work with-in the limits of stock electronics and stuff idk just odd they all go for 20-40 bucks and say they will put down numbers like that?

alot of the ebay chips that say this are full of ****
example: ebay charges like $25 for the resistor chip for the timing tricker. u can get a damn resistor at radio shack for a quarter

Those chips are THE source for mad power.
I put like 5 in series on my Camaro and can pull the front wheels 2, maybe 3 feet off the ground when I launch it hard.
Seriously. Search function is your friend. This topic has run it's course here.
....and no. Those chips are a ripoff. They WILL make your wallet faster through weight reduction though.
