Best way to replace Knock sensors and what parts are needed
I need to know the best way to change the sensors as far as how much I need to take off to get to them and what gaskets I need. Also If I need to remove the fuel lines from the intake and how to take them off. Thanks

I just took off the intake. I didn't have to remove the injectors/fuel lines but I replaced the intake as well (SLP LS6). No gaskets were needed, rubber O-rings are built into the intake. I replaced both knock sensors just incase, front one was the only one rusted. Someone mentioned replacing the wiring harness but mine wasn't damaged so I didn't.
Only parts I ordered were the sensors, part # 10456603.
You'll need small hands and watch the oil pressure sensor behind the intake. The brake booster hose runs right behind/around it and it don't take much to break it. Take your time.

a day should be plenty... first time I pulled my intake took me about 5 hours total... now it's 1.5 hours tops to take the intake off, and put it back on...
