Default What happens when 02's die?

I have a really bad problem with my 96 Impala SS. It loves to kill 02's. I go through 4-5 pairs a year. I knows its due to heavy n20 use (1-2 bottles a week) and race gas. Now my question is what does the PCM do when it sees the o2 has started to react slower or die all together? I assume it adds fuel?

Any one know?

I also use Delco 02's has anyone had any luck with other brands?

You get "slow response" codes and the 02's start to hang at 445mv.

Maybe do a search on 'denso' and try those. Folks imported info from Turbobuick.com that says that they will last a lot longer even with the usage of C16.
