What are your ultimate goals for the car?
Any power adders?
Street / Strip ?
Strip only?
As pointed out earlier in the thread there are many very fast 97 / 98 Y & F bodies out there running the stock pcm.
I swapped the pcm in my 98 a long time ago and have done many more.
It is not for everyone and is not necessary for everyone's goals.
