Default LS1 VS aftermarket ECU

Guys I am an LTx guy and I just spent roughly $900 on converting over my system to an LS2 coiled 24x LS1 ECU. For the money I couldn't pass it up.

I am no tuner but what all can a FAST, BS3, etc do that the LS1 ECU can't do? From what I know the aftermarket ECU can run up to 16 injectors(don't have a need), can turn on the second fuel pump when I want (I have a hobbs switch for that) and do on the fly tuning (that would be somewhat of a benefit, but after a very good initial tune, probably won't mess with it).

So whats everyones opinion?

You can realtime tune with the LSx PCM's as well.

For the money, it's VERY VERY tough to beat a 99+ LS1 PCM with anything aftermarket...maybe on a dedicated racecar, but even then I'd have my qualms. The nice thing about aftermarket ECU's is their ability to run low impedance injectors...but with the advent of some of the newer larger high impedance injectors, it's not a big deal...and there are converter boxes out there to run low impedance with a stock computer anyways.
