Default How To Look At My Tune?

Is there a good way to look at my tune that is not real expensive?

I am not a tuner and would only get myself in trouble if I tried. I would like to look at what my tune looks like because it is a dog for the work that has been done.

By the way, what is timing normally set at (range, I know some cars can take more than others) for WOT. Here are the specs on my car:

2000 SS W/30,000 (A4)

Lingenfelter Short Block (standard bore, forged pistons at stock CR)
LS6 Intake and Ported TB
Stock Injectors
Racetronix Fuel Pump
Crane Cam 228/228 576/563 on a 114
Stage 2.5 heads from Texas Speed
Stock 10 bolt with 3:73 Motive Gears
Upgraded Trans.
3400 Stall
BMR Suspension
Weld In Sub Frame Connectors

One last question, will changing gears from a 3:23 to 3:73 after I had the car tuned cause bad performance in the tune?

Thanks for any info you can give.

Bill

Well not to be a smart *** but you say you are not a tuner so would you know what you were looking at, if its good or bad? Anyway the only way to get into your PCM and look less someone else showing you is with software...

Good Point.... Well, I know enough to know from a high level and see if anything stands out.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Then you definetly need software to view all of the parameters.

The only way it will affect performance is it might short shift and not revving to the rpm band needed for the cam.

Easiest way to do it would be to find someone in your area that could read the PCM with HPtuners. Its free to read the PCM but costs money to save/edit the file.

your trap speed and ET look to be in line with the mods. That HP number looks "happy" for 116 MPH even if the converter is lossy up top. I would expect your setup to make about 400-410rwhp on the dynojet I use (going by mods and track results).
