Default Laptop for tuning

I want the cheapest laptop I can get, just for tuning cars for a cheap, reasonable price. What computer would be best available with the right ports and everything? Thanks for any input.

If you plan on running 2, or more, programs simultaneously then I would opt for a little processor speed - i.e. greater than 500mHz.
I run FJO Wideband Datalogging and EFILive v6 (set at the fastest "Dynamic" mode) simultaneously with a 750 mHz IBM Thinkpad - no problems.
I agree, that you'd be best off, with at least a single serial port.

I bought the Thinkpad on EBay. It doesn't have a Floppy drive or a CD burner- MAJOR MISTAKE. It's a pain in the *** getting info out of it!!! ( WiFi network seems to be the best solution). FWIW.
