ECM/PCM tuning and switching platforms/ECM OS Well, searched here, on the EFI live forum and the HPT's forum. no luck - so thought I woudl start here.
I'll start by saying this is all for an E-40 ECM.
I have a 06 Trailblazer SS ECM,(E-40) will have a 05 GTO Wiring harness and pedal. I'd like to just switch the OS in the ECM to a manual trans GTO. I've heard on an auto GTO, you have to flash the ECM so it changes some things. Wouldn't it be much easier for me to switch from a Trailblazer,(which was AWD and auto), to a GTO?
Is this even something you can do in HP Tuners or EFI live? Or am I fine with my Trailblazer SS ECM OS?
Platform is a LS2 shortblock with L92 heads/L76 intake and a cam in front of a T-56.
