IAC Air Flow with EFILive?
I upgraded from early version of auto tap, thinking I would be able to get my 422 Stroker Engine to idle better. I don't get any readings except 310.
With the 1.3 Version of Edit, I can now adjust IAC Park on my 97 C5.
Did I waste my money on the up grade? Thanks for any help.

Some drive by wire C5's do not report the IAC PID. The Electronic Throttle Controller (ETC) controls the idle using the throttle blade.
You may want to try logging these other two PIDs - not sure if they will be supported on your PCM - but try them out anyway:
{GM.IACDES} = Desired IAC position - If I recall correctly the PCM still calculates the desired IAC which is always very close to the actual IAC - or what the IAC would be if you did not have ETC.
{GM.IACDESC_B} = desired IAC airflow in gm/sec.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the other IAC PIDs, but they give no readings.
The DOS version of auto tap does have Desired Idle Air Flow, but I never knew what it was reporting. I had readings like (.165) in park. Do you know if this is grams/sec?
