I live in an area where the emissions inspection consists of the inspection station connecting to the OBD2 plug. If the SES light is on or if the PCM is "waiting" on sensors, it will not pass the test.

Is it possible to tune out a component, say the A.I.R system, and have it pass this inspection?

Additional questions:

Does a F.A.S.T PCM plug directly into the factory PCM harness thereby replacing it? If so, how/will it pass my inspection?

I’d like to remove my EGR system. I’ve been advised that removing it will negatively impact my power and driveability. How can I delete the EGR without these problems? Also, I’ll need to have it tuned out and again, have it pass inspection.
