Default recalibration for gear change

When recalibrating for a gear change for a auto with a hand held or HP tuners, does it change the mile per hour shift point, for part throttle shifts?

I don't think it does as there are parameters for that.

HP tuners has an auto scale function for that. Sometimes you have to fine tune it depending on when you want your WOT shifts because the 2 tables need to match.
