Default Started up the new LS6; purrs like a kitten

Finally got everything bolted up to the LS6, and started it up for the first time. It cranked right up and runs great. I re-used the LS1 PCM and harness and left my LS1 Predator tune on the PCM. It found idle at 750 right away, and sounds sweet with the LTs and LM. After getting all the air out of the system, it's going on the dyno tomorrow with wide band sensors to check the AFR and tune up any lean areas, but I was thinking I should wait until after the first oil change before dyno tuning it; what do you think?

I can't wait!!!!!!! It's driving me crazy...

Also- I'm retiring the old FUN LS1 tag; I just ordered QWIK LS6

I would drive it a bit and change the oil. Best to let the rings have a few hundred miles to seat in before beating on it. You'll probably need to knock the timing down a few from the LS1 tune - LS6 heads don't need as much... It'll want more fuel too... Good luck!

I agree!

Go ahead and take that predator tune off.
