OBD2 and my LS6 PCM. Getting em to talk
Im having a devil of a time getting my code reader to read the PCM.
Searched the forums.
1999 Miata, 2005 Cadi CTS-V LS6 Engine and PCM installation. OBD worked before this new install.
ODB2 connector
I have confirmed +12bat at the OBD, as well as ground for both 4 and 5.
I have not changed these from the 99 Miata ECU.
I have confirmed OBD pin 2 to the PCM Blue 58 continuity. Diagram for the car here.
I tried Blue 59 to the pin as well to the OBD pin 2.
Code reader works on my other cars.
PCM is running and car runs.
I need help on the data lines for the car to at least get the OBD2 code reader working.
Ive seen the Blue Pin 58 on other GM PCM's of the era as the OBD Class 2 serial but I just cant seem to get the darn thing to work.
I am assuming one wire serial Blue connector Pin 58 to the OBD. Some have mentioned 2 wires for CAM data?
Please advise.
THanks
Mike
