Poll: P0343, What fixed it for you?
I've had the code for a while. Car has been driven less and less the last 3-4 years, but I wanna drag it this year and want this fixed.
Mine never loses its tach signal, and hard starting I chalk up to the Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump bleeding pressure back after prime because it has no check valve. I only ever get the high volt code (0343). When I assembled the motor, I KNOW i used Loktite on the cam bolts. But I know that could still be it. And the code showed up within the first year. Used LS2 DR adjustable timing chain.
Generally the car starts the way I'd expect a high cammed 500hp motor to start and run. But I won't feel comfortable spraying it til I get this resolved.
Since it's been 4 years since I built this motor, help me remember what I have to pull off the front to get to it please.
Lid/MAF/TB
Belts
Water Pump
Front Pulley (replace bolt or loktite and reuse?)
Power Steering Pump?
