Default limitations of my 98 pcm and a few questions

just wondering if i should try and swap to a newer pcm or keep my 98

i plan on building a built 370/408 w/th400 and a 9 inch that one day i hope plan to see 750/800whp as i will be starting with low boost to get all the bugs worked out

now can i use a 2 bar map from a s/c cobalt like everyone seems to be doing?
should i keep the maf or ditch it?

injector size i should shoot for for 800whp? im running twin in take pumps?

any info or guidence to the right direction id really appreciate it

There's LOTS of info to be found on this site, just take some time to look around.

That being said:
Personally, I'm not a fan of the twin in-tank pump setups, but that's just a personal preference. Many people have used them with varying degrees of success. Injector size is going to be a MINIMUM of 60lbs/hr@43psi...probably more like 72lbs/hr@43psi....with a boost referencing regulator and 1/2" fuel line....and a sumped tank. Cobalt map sensor should be fine up to 15psi or so...I would definitely change to a 2000 or newer ECU.

Again, these are just my personal preferences. Ask around here a bit, do some research, and make your own best decision. Hope this helps.
