Default 98 pcm wanting to do a 2 bar.

So I have a 98 transam with a stock 98 pcm. My tunner was wanting me to upgrade to a 2 bar maf. Was thinking to getting the msd gm ignition 2312. how does this hook up ?

It allows the computer to register manifold pressure in excess of 14.7 PSI (atmospheric pressure). 14.7 = 1 bar, less than 14.7 is read as vacuum. So, a 2 bar would read up to ~15lbs of turbo or supercharger induced pressure over atmospheric, 3 bar is necessary if you're looking at a high boost application, say 20 to 25 psi for example.
