Default For a turbo can, say, why would the MAF now fuel right if it's not maxed?

As we were driving around my freinds ATI procharged Silverado, I was woondering why the MAF table would not fuel acorrectly for the amount of air entering the system? His uses a blow through MAF, but we still have to scale the MAF up about 120$ to get the WOT struff in the ballpark according to his sideband. It got me thinking.....why would the MAF not compensate for this? The MAF is not maxing out, so why should the PE vs. RPM tables have to be changed if we changed the boost level? The PE table should just kind of follow a gentle curve, as fas as I know, but with doing that his PE table is now up to around 1.35 and goes up around .05 every cell after 3000rpm? Any clues?

Sounds maxed. The MAF will still report a frequency but the PCM will no longer register air flow. Log lb/sec (or the metric equivilant). I bet it is flatlining around 3000 rpm.
