Having to disconnect injector plugs to start

Default Having to disconnect injector plugs to start

Anyone know why when i start up my car it runs fine then if i turn it off and try to restart it it just keeps popping and will not start, i unplug the injector plugs turn the key over it sputters then i plug the injector plugs back in and it starts right up. Any ideas???

Getting flooded. Seems like it. What's the Afr. An you log it at idle?

Yea i think its gettin flooded as well, i dont know what the afr is. Im just trying to get it ready as much as possable before i bring it to my tuner. I Just tryed it agian and it backfired really loud, can big backfires damage anything?

not really. I think you should not start it until the tunner checks the injector settings and plugs the scanner. did you change injectors or anything else on it.?

Yea its just seems like the injectors are staying on when the cars off then when i go to start it its flooded.

Unplug each injector harness and pull the rail/injectors above the intake. Leave all fuel lines connected, prime the key and watch for any leaking injectors. I placed dry paper towels under each injector since I was working alone, but they were all dry after several primes.
