I currently have tuning through Jason at MTI, so if I need it, it wont be a problem. However, I was wondering if Im going to need to make any changes to the computer whatsoever. This particular tranny is a non-electronic transmission, which you probably already know, but I figured that I would mention it to those that dont. Thanks.

i just swapped from t56 to th400 and i noticed that the car wanted to surge a little when it was cold. im sure it was from the added weight of the converter and trans over the clutch. i would guess change some idle speeds at various temps and maybe tweak the ve to get the not as lean.

I weighed my pressure plate and cluth disk and it weighed more than my converter! Also, the flywheel weighed more than the flexplate. So between the 2 setups, my manual stuff was definately heavier. I wouldnt think the tranny would make a difference, but if it did, then 200-4R is lighter than the T-56. So hopefully I dont run into any of those problems. I just need to figure out if there needs to be changes, slight adjustments, and things to be deleted before I take a 45 mins. trip out to MTI. Thanks.
