Shut off traction control?

Taking my car back to the tuner to "tweak" the idle. Was wondering if he could permanently shut off the traction control without shutting off the antilock brakes. I know on some GM products they are connected.

Easy.. there is a table that pulls timing to control traction....zero it all out and it wont pull timing. Did it to a friends car.
