e38 standalone, starts and dies after 2 seconds max
Hello everyone
Im using wiring and all stuff from a 2007 silverado.
I disabled VATS, used a 100 ohm resistor on he black and yellow wire. the car was running, then took it to a 3 min ride.... after that the car only starts and dies and throws code crankshaft relearn, do you have any ideas?

checked for spark?
checked for injector pulse?
tried running it on aerostart or something similar
definately sounds like VATS not diasabled correctly
what Software you using to disable vats?

Greetings i see where you helped a guy with his vats issue. however i cant find any posts about it. i recently bought my 1st ls base 5.3 vortec going into a 1971 z28/RS i haven,t even picked up my engine yet. 1st ? How do i turn off the Vats 2nd ? what is the cheapest way for me flexible tuning capability for a cam swap and down the road turbo for instance 8 psi street 16 psi track etc. i'm a dad with an expensive passion. that said i spent the last 3 yrs building a 406 sbc total $7500 and my back up 350 $2500 i'm new to the ls base world so please show patience for lack of knowlegde. ive been researching ls base tech online for about a month now. which lead to me now have $10.000 dollars in paper weights and a junkyard 5.3 that i'm VERY eager to play with.
