Default do i need a IAC

got my car a basic tune from Speedinc.. I got every senseor plug in even the iac but its just laying on by head. The car wont stay idling do i need the iac installed in intake cuz im running a 4150 tb

You need the IAC yes. It provides a metered air bypass. If speed inc did the tuning, then they should know best, but if they tuned it with the iac in place, then you should use it. Unless you have the ability to adjust the idle stop up and keep the blades open.

They make a IAC block off or plug for most 4150's but I always like using the IAC. I have a 4150 on my car with IAC and it works like a stock car. It does take a little bit of work in the tune to get them work work but it sure is nice to reach in the race car and fire it up and it always starts and idles perfect.

You might as well go back to a carburetor if you want to get rid of all your sensors. You could technically get rid of the IAT sensor and cheat all the tables that reference it but why?
