Default hptuners PCM shift light wiring

okay so I know this should be very simple, but I've never wired anything straight to the pcm before. since my car was originally an auto I have a wire in pin #47 already so I don't have to worry about pinning it.

is it as simple as wiring the (-) LED wire to the PCM and the (+) side to a positive power source and then plugging in whatever settings I choose in hptuners?

thanks for the help in advance

If you fear wiring something directly to the PCM, use a relay to protect the PCM from short circuits and overloads.
