Default Tune on a stock car?

Just out of curiosity, how much improvement, say in 1/4 mile measurement, can be gained from a maximized tune on a bone stock ls1 car, say a 1999 ws6 convertible A4? Just wondering if anyone has any numbers on this idea??

.2 -.4 better 1/4 mile time on stock (A4) specifically is what I have seen personally. Adjustments to shift speed/pressure alone are substantially noticable despite all the other moderate changes you can add to the mix.
