Hey guys, what would cause backfire and hesitation when the engine is cold. Not enough fuel? I have the VE tuned pretty well with idle trims under 2%. Once the motor warms up, it never hesitates or backfires. But if I start it, and drive away, any throttle I give it will produce backfire and for the rpms to drop 100-300 rpms before catching up and taking off....

What will help this? Thanks

have you altered your open EQ ratio table? this will help alot with cold start up issues... what your AF when cold?

It doesn't have any problems starting up. When it's started and I try to take off, it hesitates, and bogs/backfires. I haven't messed with my open EQ at all. Should I be adding fuel to the colder temps? Is, would you start by adding 10%?
