Default park neutral rev limiter??.. something weird

so i was doing a burnout yesterday with the slicks on and around 4500 rpms the car felt like it started hitting the rev limiter. sure enough in the tune the park/neutral setting is 4500 rpm... and 6200 rpm in the "in gear" table across the board even in the park neutral in that table. Now i am a converted a4 to t56 car with the a4 program in the computer. The computer reads as if the car is always in 2nd gear.

I have the orange black wire wired up so the hatch will open for the neutral safety signal for the pcm.

After it did this i shut it off. After restart i could not recreate it and everything seemed normal. But at the same time i want to be able to determine the cause of this because i dont want it to come back up. It figures i didnt have the computer logging when it did it.

any ideas how to recreate it so i can make sure it doesnt happen again and make sure its fixed
