Pretty sure I blew up my PCM...
So I am working on a LS1 conversion for my 69 Camaro and I got it all ready to start and I couldn't get it to fire up. Basically after several days of double checking wires, grounds, and power sources I couldn't get any sign of life. I also couldn't read the computer with my HPTuners interface.
Since the engine is from a '98 camaro I decided to try putting the PCM in my '98 Trans Am to test it. When I turn the ignition on in the Trans am all I hear is a loud clicking noise and the engine won't fire up. No fuel pump or anything. So it sounds like the PCM is toast right?
Can the PCM be repaired or would it just be better to buy another one?
