finally did a total repin of computer had a 98harness and a 00 computer. Got the car to fire up but all it does it rev straight to redline without my foot on the throttle and the butterfly is closed and no tension on the throttle cable. I checked. It doesn't have the maf hooked up but it should just run in speed density correct? Any ideas

If its running straight to redline with the throttle body blades shut you have a huge vacuum leak some where. You can check the idle air control valve but even that should not give enough air to rev to redline.

Thanks for the great info... Started searching for obvious leaks. And leaned on the fuel rail... Apparently I didn't bolt it down after searching to see if the injectors were firing. Sooo. I had about 5 injectors loose.. That's some nice leaks there. Idles perfect now
