Default Suggest '98, '02 or other PCM for my LS2

I have a 2007 LS2 which was rebuilt with a 24 reluctor, cam'ed and tuned with a '98 PCM. I have tuned it many times with HP Tuners and it all works well. Currently it has a 4150-style intake manifold and is therefore running MAF-less and drive-by-cable.

Anyway, I like to experiment and already have a 2002 PCM; I know I have to rewire the connectors extensively to use it.
One thing about the '98 PCM that bothers me is that it only has 24 bytes of data available for scanning and I have to keep changing the PIDs depending upon what I want to do.

My questions are:

1. Is the 2002 PCM worth switching to?
2. Does the 2002 PCM with only one VE table work well in SD mode?
3. Does the 2002 PCM support more bytes of logging and if so, how many? 48?
4. Or would you recommend an even later year PCM, keeping in mind it has to support a 24 reluctor wheel?

Thank you for any feedback and suggestions.

1. Is the 2002 PCM worth switching to? Yes
2. Does the 2002 PCM with only one VE table work well in SD mode? Yes
3. Does the 2002 PCM support more bytes of logging and if so, how many? 48? Yes. I haven't used 48 but I remeber using a table with 37 bytes without issue
4. Or would you recommend an even later year PCM, keeping in mind it has to support a 24 reluctor wheel? 02 PCM is more than enough
