Wideband o2 sensor placement?
I have done a search and can't find a definitive answer. Getting a wideband bung installed tomorrow. Can I install it in the beginning of the I-Pipe? I don't have cats. I am assumning since dyno tuning is done with a senor up the exhaust tip that being closer to the engine in the I-pipe would still be accurate?
Other posts have said driver's side header collector. Please help.

you can install it anywhere, but it will be better closer to the collectors, and I prefer the Passenger side as there is more room to route wires back up into the car and easier to keep out of the way of everything else.
the passenger side will also be the leaner side of the engine...Just from the nature of how fuel routes to the rails..
even more so on a nitrous setup that pulls fuel from the schrader valve on the stock rail
you lose pressure on the passenger side because its all going out the drivers side...pressure finds the path of least resistance every time...

Why
The reason you haven't found a definitive answer is because there isn't one. It's a matter of preferences, but the I pipe is fine. That way if either side goes lean you know now. If you put it in either side it should be fine because the computer should find any major differences between the two. Put it where you want and you where good.
