Question Question About Deleting Codes

A had the ses light on and when i scanned me car i found that i needed to replace some 02 sensors. I replaced them but the codes are still up. Do i need to delete them or should they have turned off by themselves?

The light should turn off after a certain number of cycles(I don't know exactly how many times).

I believe it has to pass four tests and then the light will go out. It will stay in the PCM memory history until it passes 40 more tests. Or just reset it. But the light should go out if problem was fixed.
