gen IV lsx- need to split fuel level signal....impossible??
I was wondering if anyone knows of a clever way to feed my after market fuel gauge a signal...the e 38 has no output foe fuel level signal like the other pcms... tried tapping the fuel signal wire but all that did was make the gauge read all messed up. Im at a total loss guys. Any help is soooo much appreciated!

Is this an emmissione legal swap?
If not, rum the gauge to the sending unit and just tie a resistor to the pcm input with a fixed value telling it the tank is full, so it doesn't run the evap tests and give you DTC's for them. You might have to turn off the DTC's for the fuel level sender, since it will think it is stuck.
