Can I switch from a TH400 to a 4L60e without having to retune My pcm was tuned for the motor/cam I have with a TH400 behind it all. This year I switched to a 4L60E for an overdrive gear. I also went from a 4:10 to a 3:73 gear out back. I know in order for the tune to be optimal I need it updated, but my question was "Will the pcm even control the trans in the current state, or do the control functions get turned off when tuning for a non electronic trans?"
