As title states, I have hp tuners. I am fairly efficient with it.

After a heads and intake install, it started backfiring occasionally when cruising, decelerating or just idling at a red light. Never under heavy or even moderate load. Everyone has told me this is a timing being pulled condition. So I need to pull a little timing down low.

I can't really scan for this anymore (very rarely occurs)...after I put in 42lb injectors, the problem decreased by at least 50%, but still obviously need to tweak a cruise, idle table somewhere. Where should I be looking.

Lean pop? Mine did that after HCI but had a vacuum leak from where the MAP would break over and over (fast 102 rubbing against firewall)

Yes, the ever so rare, unexpected and loud lean pop. If I got a passenger, they almost **** their pants. If he's a vet, he ducks. Lol

I know there isn't a vacuum leak, I was there personally and assisted with the entire H/I install.

Maybe I should be adding fuelm instead of pulling timing?

Oh, she does ilde/cruise right at 14.5 to 14.7 afr, have a permanent wideband installed. Haven't been able to be looking at it when it popped
