Okay so a few weeks ago I bought my first camaro
Its a 98 z28 auto
Well turns out they swapped a 5.3 in it
I pulled the harness out because it had some bad wiring in it
They changed the computer on it
I don't know if it has been repinned
The car runs and all but I feel like its missing something
It idles funny sometimes also
I pulled the computer and these were the numbers
From my recent research this is a 99-00 pcm

Hdw no. 16220610
Questions... If this is a new pcm and they haven't repinned the harness would the car run?
My OBD2 port don't work either it did for a few days then just stopped
Now I checked for voltage and it gets power to the orange I checked the grounds with the orange wire to make sure my grounds are there but the purple wire (data serial line) has no voltage at all I even checked with a good body ground what could it be???

Serv. No. 09354896 is a 99-00 PCM, its defiantly not a 98. The harness is either re-pinned or they put a 99-02 harness in the car.

ALDL/OBD port: check cigar lighter fuse.

I pulled the harness out to fix some bad wiring in it. The harness has a tag 207360 I did some searching and read that its a 99-00 harness I would like to get a double check
