Default Lingenfelter 58x to 24x trigger box

Got my ls3 swap in my 98 Camaro just about buttoned up. I purchased this trigger box but not sure where everyone is mounting the box at to avoid heat. Did a search and not many pics. Thanks in advance.

We ran one for about 2 years on the strut tower right behind the battery with no issues.

I bolted mine up under the cowl beside the heater box while the motor was still out of the car. It is out of the way and should not have any heat issues. But it would be hard to do this if you already have the motor back in. I just did the same swap in my 98 Z28. Did you run into any problems? My swap went really well except for now it won't idle below 1800 RPM. I am trying to figure out why....

did you just extend some of the trigger box harness to reach? i had a loss of signal from the starter relay to the starter but just figured it out today but still need to flash a base tune in it.
