Default 24x Reluctor Wheel Alignment

I have searched but cannot find exactly what I am looking for.

Having some timing issues and want to drop the pan to verify the reluctor alignment. As I understand it, if the crank is positioned so that extra unthreaded hole on the end is at 12:00, then the 2 pointy holes in the wheel should line up with the threaded holes at 9:00 and 3:00. My question is, with that positioning, should the 5 holes in the wheel be at 12:00 or 6:00?

Hope I worded that correctly.

TIA,

Is this a new crank wheel or one that has been running fine then started f'ing up?

If your gonna pull the pan, put a dial indicator on it as well and check the runout. .020" was too much on mine.

Not new. It is a used crank/wheel removed from another block. Since reassembly, there has been a significant drop in power and found the timing to be off 8*. Tried to offset timing in ECU but something is not right. Dropped the pan and my eyeballs say reluctor seems to off slightly. 8* would be 1/45 of a rotation so hard to tell. Gonna degree the cam then get back to the reluctor with more accurate measuring.
