Will superchips programmer override custom tune for gear change
I'm going from stock gears in my m6 to 4.10s or 3.90s it's a dd. I got an Efi live tune from wait4meperformance. I have a superchips programmer that came with my car if I plugged that in to change and adjust my speedo will it override my custom tune I had done?

If you plug it in, and when it powers up it says it has programmed: and shows your vin, unplug that sucker. I tell people that have a hand held like that to be sure they put the PCM back to stock before they send them to me, so they can either sell them, or use them to correct for gear changes.
I have seen Superchips programmers refuse to do anything because the calibration (or "tune") has been changed. Obviously it compares checksums to what is stored. If they still do that, it's a good deal.
If I were you I would just call Superchips Inc and ask. Better than asking questions on a message board.
