Default p1810 code. Please help still stumped!!

Here's what the deal is. I swapped my WORKING engine and transmission in a older car, I don't have a range selector, and the engine/transmission is out of a 98. The pcm and engine harness is out of a 2002. I was told they were different! Somebody please help. I think I may know what's going on. I think P/N fluid line pressure differs from R/D line pressures. So its throwing the code because theres no range selector to tell the pcm to send different line pressure.. But I'm still wondering if 98 and 02 stuff is different!

B4 U get your panties wadded up, how about some info that could well affect what suggestions you get.
Drivetrain is out of what?? A vette, a F body, a truck?
Harness/pcm is a 2002 what?
"Range selector", as in the PNP sw?
