are there any aftermarket solutions to pc via interface?

I use one at work, I know there are cheaper versions out there from China, and that iirc Bosch makes a very compatible tool since they make the MDI for GM. What is it you're trying to do with one? If you have access to GM's downloads, most J2534 tools should flash the modules. Again I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but there are other options out there.

yes reflash modules and radios
the Tech2 isnt working out so well.
also looking a WINDOWS based one but the options seem limited
