Idles high when started, goes away when in net

Idles high when started, goes away when in net Stock 5.3 conversion with 4l60 trans. Has factory wire harness. The truck runs and shifts good. When started in the morning, the truck will ilde good, put in gear and starts idling at 1500. You put the truck in net and it will idle back down to normal and never do it again. Its only when first started every time. Any ideas.
