Default Running rich after cam swap

I just swaped cams in my 01 Camaro. Previous cam was a 222/224 .570 580 and now we are running a 242/248 .608 .612. Andother change we made was swapping out the factory 10 bolt 3.23s to a 12 bolt 4.88. The car has been tuned once before but after this cam swap is runs very rich.

Is this something that can be resolved by just adjusting the air/fuel ratio? Does it need a whole new tune?

Thanks

Its going to have to be re-tuned in order to get the fuel right.

Okay thanks. The person who tuned it before is someone I race with. Should I just go back to him and have it retuned or is it worth the money to invest in one of the tuning softwares? I'm not sure how often I would need it.

Thats 100% up to you. It would be cheaper to have the original person just re-tune it I would think. Buying tuning software takes a big commitment on your end to put the time in to learn the software.
