Default New engine build - Need ECM advice

So, my engine bit the big one and plan on doing another engine. Going to be a ls1 383 with Texas Speed stroker kit and heads and cam. This will require new injectors and fuel pump I imagine. My dead engine has a ls1edit tune for my 224 cam with stock injectors. What are my options after it's back together. I imagine it won't really run on the previous tune with new bigger injectors. The place I got the tune from is 6 hours away. Another shop advised that ls1edit is an old technology, the new shop is 4 hours away and they use HP tuners.. How do I get to the new shop for a dyno tune. Should I send them my ECM ahead of time with my specs to get a safe tune so I can get there? I don't know much about tuning. I guess I will have to purchase the HP tuners from them first as this will overwrite my current ls1edit tune?
Thx for any advice.

You have a couple of options:
mail order tune to get up and running
buy hp tuners and get email tune to get it running
trailer to shop for tune

LS1 edit is just tuning software like hpt or efi. Its only as good as the person using it so you really cant judge the quality of tune by just the software that was used.
