01/02 s10 CC ECM (0411) tuning Hello all
For the specs I have a 2002 s10 crew cab that has the 4.3l v6 in it. I am looking to do a 5.3l ls swap in the futer. From my reading and visial check it has the 0411 ecm that's the same as ls1 set ups.
Now for my question
Would I be able to buy tunning software like ls1 edit or similar to tune the 4.3l v6 for now then down the road change the tune and add wiring ( 2 more injectors, coil packs, ect.) for the 5.3l?

This is a noob answer but I have read that any 0411 pcm from anything (4.3 included) can be reflashed to run a lsx. I grabbed a 0411 out of a 5.7 sfi 350 express van for my 6.0 swap. Good luck with your swap. Lsx s10s are sweet.
