Timing higher than commaneded should be! help please
Hey guys I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 with 4L80. My commanded timing should be 26. And i'm getting 28 to 31 degrees instead. Which is causing the truck to knock and pull timing. Truck is bone stock other than a CAI. I have looked thru the sticky thread about this I have adjusted some files but not sure if others need to be zero'd out. Im pretty new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

ok I was wondering if this was the one doing it. Just didn't want to start adjusting things I wasn't sure of. Does this table need to be zero'd completely out?
was also wondering if the IAT multiplier and ECT multiplier were also adding some.

You certainly can try zeroing out the AFR Spark Advance table; I keep it all zero.
If you zero out the table, the multiplier table is irrelevant or vice versa.
I would keep the IAT table and its multiplier as you want to reduce advance in hot weather.
The stock ECT table is also zero above 176F coolant temp, so that won't matter either.
