Default hp tuners vats, please help.

I need to disable vats on my pcm but my problem is when i go to the OS it only gives me the VCM enhancements tab and the general settings that every body says to go to is just simply not there to click on. does anyone know why? I understand from reading other posts that this is supposed to be a easy thing to do but i dont understand why the option is not there to tune.

Post the file. Hard to help without any knowledge of what vehicle or seeing the calibration file.

Different vehicles and years require slightly different steps to remove security features.

On the older P1 and P59 pcms VATS is under the System tab. And you do not have to do a write entire. A write calibration will disable it.

this is what i have been told to do previously and is the reason why i cant figure this out correct me if im wrong but you are saying to go to the Operating System tap and then to general to disable vats. i do not have the general tab. it only shows up with the vcm enhancements in the os.

Pretty sure I said to go to the System tab. VATS is in the OS tab on the newer PCMs like the E38s.
