98 z28 a4 to 02 t56 pcm and harness Searched for a week and still can't really find what I need. I did see that a lot of people used one site for this info but it seems to be gone now so no help there either...
I'm picking up a 98 z28 a4 roller but it has no pcm or engine harness (sold with motor and trans). I have a 0411 pcm and 02 t56 harness that I want to use to swap in my lq4 and t56.
My question is, what all needs to be done to my 02 harness to make it work with the 98 camaro. I have seen that people talk about fuel level gauge problems that can be fixed with a tune, and the 98 having 3 plugs in the passenger side kick panel. Just look g for what I have to do to get this car up and running as quick as possible. Any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated as always.

I know this is several months old but if it helps the poster or someone else:
The 0411 PCM needs to have the proper settings enabled in order for the 98 fuel gauge to work.
You can use a 99+ engine harness BUT there are several wires that need to be ADDED and MOVED to make it compatible with the rest of the vehicle.
Mod a 99+ engine harness is just as much work as simply re-pinning a 98 engine harness.
I personally prefer to repin the 98 harness because all your changes are in 1 location vs the 99+ where the changes are all over the harness.
